Enjoying the ozarks
There is so much to see and do while in the Ozarks during every season of the year.
Hunting Season can be spent in the woods calling in a group of turkeys, or waiting on that big buck to cross your path.
We are less than 2 miles from the Mark Twain National Park Service.
During the summer you can spend the day on the river; then followed by an evening around the campfire. We are less than 2 miles from Jacks Fork River. We will gladly help put you in at Buck Hollow and take you out at Blue Springs. If floating or tubing is not your thing...a very short drive down our country road will lead you to the river. This is where you can find a nice quiet secluded spot to set your canopy up for the day, swim in the clear waters of the Jacks Fork or try your hand at fishing in the river. Many people love to float the area from Ally Springs to Emience on the Jacks Fork River. Check out the list of canoe rentals at the bottom of this page. The Current River is not to far away either. A great day float would be Cedar Grove to Akers or Akers to Pulltite. This is a great way to see more of the Ozarks. The Current River is spring fed and has many springs running into it along its path. If you are lucky enough while floating the Current River you might catch a glimpse of the WILD HORSES! If you like hiking there are plenty of trails to hike and explore and sites to see. You can check out the hiking links below. Like to get out and sightsee... Ally Springs, Round Springs, and Rocky Falls are beautiful anytime of the year. Finally for those treasure seekers there are plenty of flee markets in the area to keep you busy for days.

SITES to SEE
Finding things to do and see close by is not a problem.
We have lots of beautiful Ozarks to explore.
Ozark National Scenic Riverways was established through congressional legislation on August 24, 1964 to conserve and interpret the unique cultural and natural resources of the Current and Jacks Fork Rivers. The Riverways protects 134 miles of clear, free-flowing spring-fed waterways. The impressive karst landscape of the Riverways supports an amazing variety of features, including a spring system unparalleled in North America. Ozark National Scenic Riverways was the first federally protected river system and provided the inspiration for the National Wild and Scenic Rivers Act of 1968.
